Please wear loose clothing, not jeans if possible. It is often helpful if the area needing treatment is revealed. Back on Track always uses towel techniques for your privacy and reassurance. Often it is necessary your walking and running gait be examined and/ or strength testing for muscles and active functional tests carried out.

Please bring any items you think to be beneficial i.e. used running shoes, orthotics, tennis racket, training programs, scan results, operation notes (if applicable and possible).

This is dependent on many factors such as type of tissue damaged, time since injury, motivation towards rehabilitation and how much support you require from your therapist. You may for instance, just require education in a single session regarding how best to self manage your injury, or may require 6-8 sessions and more support and feedback, Back on Track is guided by your requirements.

Physiotherapy is often reimbursed by your healthcare insurer with proof of Health Professions Council registration. Please contact your individual insurer for confirmation first. Please inform me prior to your visit if you wish to use your private medical insurance. I will require you to pay at time treatment and will give you a receipt by email to claim back unless otherwise arranged.
