Gemma first became interested in Sports Massage when training for her first marathon and came to understand how beneficial it could be.

This interest in the mechanics of how the human body worked and how different structures interact led her to studying and qualifying as a Sports Massage Therapist in 2014.

Since then she has treated many clients in different environments and has found that Sports Massage has lots of uses in everyday life and isn’t just for the sporty. She has continued her development by learning new massage techniques such as Indian Head Massage and Bamboo Massage to offer her clients a wider range of tools to use.

Her favourite part of the job is seeing her clients reach their goals whether it be getting a PB or getting rid of a stiff neck.Outside of massage Gemma is an active person and enjoys training for, and competing in, long distances running races. She also has a New Forest pony so her time is very much taken up.
